For the past 16 years, New Orleans has celebrated a day dedicated to honoring the beloved Po-Boy sandwich, a culinary icon deeply embedded in the city’s rich food culture. Since 2007, locals and visitors have gathered in the historic Oak Street neighborhood for a lively festival that brings together over 50,000 people. This event is not just a celebration of the delectable Po-Boy but also a vibrant showcase of the community spirit, featuring food, drinks, music, and shopping along the lively Oak Street.
Adding to the culture of the festival, Frenchy will be live painting several of the musical acts throughout the event as he’s done since the inception of the Festival 15 years ago. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness live music and visual art, creating an immersive experience. The Frenchy Gallery, conveniently located at 8328 Oak Street in the heart of the festival, will be open for attendees to browse his most recent live and studio paintings in addition to view the various Puzzles, Blankets, Posters and Canvas Prints on sale.
