For Immediate Release: April 28, 2022
NEW ORLEANS – Renowned artist Frenchy will paint tonight’s critical Game 6 of the NBA Playoff Series between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Phoenix Suns LIVE from the Smoothie King Center at 7:30 p.m. With the hometown Pelicans trailing last year’s Western Conference Champions 3-2 in the series, Frenchy plans to commemorate a historic Game 6 win for New Orleans on canvas this evening.
Any media wishing to capture Frenchy’s artistry on camera may do so by visiting the Smoothie King Center’s Party Perch, located in section 323 of the arena. Frenchy will be available for media photo-ops, b-roll and interviews throughout the game as he channels the energy of tonight’s sold-out playoff matchup into an original painting.
“Tonight’s sellout crowd of New Orleans fans decked out in Pelicans’ red will be loud and proud – I can’t wait to feed off their energy and let it fuel my creativity,” Frenchy said. “We are going to document history tonight and send the series back to Phoenix for the franchise’s first-ever Game 7 as the Pelicans.”
Media wishing to pre-arrange photo-ops or interviews with Frenchy may do so by calling Keith Frechette at 407-758-5148.
