RENOWNED ARTIST ‘FRENCHY’ TO CAPTURE SUPER BOWL WEEK IN HOUSTON ON CANVAS FOR ESPN, MAXIM & NBC
NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans-based artist Frenchy – internationally known in fine art circles and beyond for his sports and music paintings – will “paint the town” in Houston for Super Bowl week with a full slate of painting performances scheduled in Texas from Feb. 2-5. Known for vividly capturing events on canvas in real time with style and flair, Frenchy will be a frequent guest on ESPN sets during Super Bowl week and will paint several special events, including Mike Ditka and Ron Jaworski’s “Cigars with the Stars” fundraiser for the NFL Alumni Foundation and Maxim Magazine’s annual Super Bowl celebration.
“I am honored to be back in Houston to help celebrate Super Bowl week,” Frenchy said. “My hometown of New Orleans has a close relationship with Houston – our cities are there for each other and I’m eager to include the spirit of such a great city in my artwork. It’s very humbling to be invited back to another Super Bowl and I’m humbled to know that my work has gained acceptance and notoriety in the sports world.”
