Frenchy Paints Lowell Golden Gloves

Frenchy Paints Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves for 6th Straight Year

Frenchy captured the action on the canvas for the canvas. You see, he returned to his roots by creating a charity painting for the Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves for the sixth straight year. This is his roots, more than just a homecoming to Lowell, Massachusetts, because it is a return to his boxing pedigree. Frenchy’s father, Roger Frechette Sr. as well as his grandfather, Jean Paul Frechette – AKA the Blond Tiger – were renowned pugilists throughout the 1950’s. Frenchy’s dad went on to train Lowell legend, Micky Ward. (subject of The Fighterstarring Mark Wahlberg). Frenchy donates his time and talents to this hometown cause with 100% of the painting’s proceeds going to the charity.
