Frenchy To Paint 2013 JazzFest Gala

Frenchy To Paint 2013 JazzFest Gala for the 2nd Year.

The JazzFest Gala is the kickoff event for the world famous New Orleans Jazz Fest happening this year, April 26 to May 5. Frenchy will be on hand for the second straight year to paint performances for the Jazz & Heritage Gala.

Last year, Frenchy painted Trombone Shorty with the live painting selling for $5,000! Seventy percent of the proceeds were donated back to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation.

This year he will be painting his favorite New Orleans brass band, the Grammy Award winning Rebirth Brass Band as well as the host, jazz trumpeter, Kermit Ruffins.

Ever the arts and cultural ambassador for his beloved New Orleans, Frenchy will be covering the festival for the 16th time! Every year he paints for two weeks straight. This time will be no different, starting from the opening gala on April 25th he will go straight through to May 5th painting during the day and some special late night shows. We will release a full schedule closer to the fesssss-ty.

Stay tuned to his Facebook and Twitter channels for all the action from Frenchy’s perspective during JazzFest 2013.
