Frenchy Paints The Radiators Reunion Gig for Tipitina’s 35th Anniversary Series
In 2010, The Radiators decided to take a break after performing their brand of New Orleans funk / rock fusion together for over 30 years. Their final three shows were performed at the famous Tipitina’s. Frenchy was there to capture all every night on canvas. This was an emotional painting for Frenchy because he painted The Radiators over 50 times since becoming a New Orleanian in 1997.
In November of 2012, Tipitina’s announced their special 35th Anniversary Concert Series and what show would be best to kick off these festivities? You guessed it, a Radiators reunion show. Frenchy would produce two paintings during this residency.
