Frenchy Delights Attendees of Cisco Partner Summit 2011 with Performance Art

New Orleans performance painter, Frenchy, was contracted to do a piece for this year’s Cisco Partner Summit. The mission: Capture the evening’s entertainment – the legendary Irma Thomas. Frenchy went to work on his vibrant creation as Irma entertained the audience of about 1,000 attendees. Frenchy completed the original work throughout the evening and had 1,000 prints of the painting ready and delivered to each attendee within 48 hours to commemorate the event.

His actual painting was on display and set for auction at the Partner’s Ball held at the House of Blues. Proceeds for the auctioned original Frenchy painting are to benefit the St. Bernard Project, a New Orleans based charity to give housing opportunities to the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. As interest in the painting built throughout the evening, so did the buzz which lead to an auction value of $52,000.00
