The Trio

With the Frenchylive Gallery located on Oak St. in the French Quarter and conveniently close to the storied Maple Leaf Bar it couldn’t work out better for a performance painter. Frenchy was able to catch the legendary Trio, a collaboration of the Meters’ George Porter with the venerable Johnny Vidacovich on drums along with other musical guests, on several occasions. One time featured a rare painting collaboration with long-time pal and friendly rival, Keith “Scramble” Campbell – history on canvas.
