Cookies for Kid’s Cancer is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for research to develop new, improved treatments for pediatric cancer, the #1 disease killer of children in the United States. CKC provides inspiration and support for individuals, businesses and organizations to raise funds by hosting grassroots bake sales and other fundraising events.
On Tuesday, February 23rd, the charity will hold the 2016 Chef’s for Kids’ Cancer Event at the Metropolitan West in New York City to raise funds for childhood cancer research. A bunch of renowned chefs including Bobby Flay, Marc Forgione, Dorie Greenspan, Dan Kluger, and many more will be on hand to prepare a 4-course custom meals for individual tables while pastry chefs create 14 different cookies. Guests can participate in a live auction with once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and a private concert from Singer/Songwriter Jill Hennessy. Frenchy will be there to paint the action live and the final piece will be on of the items auctioned off.
