Frenchy’s unique approach to translating action in front of him into unique, colorful and vivid paintings begins with a pencil sketch on canvas. It’s the backdrop that gets put in place then Frenchy takes a snapshot of the action in his mind and sketches that out too. Then comes some additions to the action and background, subtle touches that let you know he was there, in that place, which makes the image a true representation of the event. Finally, Frenchy brings the painting to life with dazzling color, and refines the painting after the event for an amazing finished product.
