Frenchy is honored to have been included in the last several Super Bowls with ESPN and the NFL, documenting the world’s biggest sporting event and all of its associated events on canvas. As part of the NFL relationship, the New Orleans artist has forged a lasting bond with Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl XV quarterback Ron Jaworski, the ESPN network, and the City of Philadelphia over the last decade.
Through these special bonds, Frenchy has been invited by ESPN to paint this year’s NFL Draft in Philadelphia. This year’s draft takes place April 27-29 and begins on Thursday, April 27th, on the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum. Frenchy will be capturing the event as he sees it, in real time, in conjunction with his friends in Philly.
“It’s no coincidence that the NFL Draft takes place in the spring – a time of renewal for all of us, football teams included,” Frenchy said. “Philadelphia is the City of Brotherly Love and I’m excited to share my passion for the game with friends, fans and Philadelphians as part of this very special event on ESPN.”
