Frenchy’s association with Team Gleason rolls on with his exhibition at the Art for Arts’ Sake pop-up gallery. The lobby of the Paramount Apartments will serve as a makeshift pop-up gallery in the middle of the Contemporary Arts Center’s big event.
Art fans in and around New Orleans have grown to love this annual rite of Fall. Created by the CAC in 1980, this annual celebration of art has become one of the hottest events of the year. Art for Art’s Sake Downtown features various artists displayed across 20 galleries and museums.
The Paramount’s lobby will be transformed into a gallery to feature exhibits from Frenchy and Scott Guion. Works from these renowned local artists will be on display and for sale. Portions of Frenchy’s sale will benefit Team Gleason and there work to help those fighting ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). Come out to 611 O’Keefe Ave, soak up the culture, buy a Frenchy piece, support a charity. It’s that easy.
